Music to our ears. Arabella Chi shared these words after training with us at our London gym for the past six months in the lead-up to her pregnancy.
From the outset, Arabella’s goal was clear: to maintain her fitness and keep both her mind and body balanced and strong during this transformative time. Training twice a week with her personal trainer, Connor, they developed a tailored approach to fitness and nutrition – one that suited her goals, lifestyle and routine, while remaining flexible and responsive to the natural changes in her body over the six months.
Staying active during pregnancy brings a host of physical and mental benefits. Regular, guided exercise can help to reduce common pregnancy-related discomforts such as back pain and fatigue, support healthy weight gain, improve sleep quality and prepare the body for labour.
Mentally, it can help to boost a positive mood, eases stress and promotes overall wellbeing.
