LEG EXTENSION FORM
This leg exercise targets the quadriceps in the top of your legs.

1.
A common mistake when performing the leg extension is that people tend to only flex from the knee. Performing leg extension this way means that there is not enough focus and contraction on the quad muscle.
2.
The aim therefore is to direct as much focus onto the quad muscle as possible. To do this, pull yourself into the seat with a good grip on the side handles. Imagine you are driving your coccyx right into the seat pad.
3.
Squeeze the muscle in the quad as much as you can, trying not to focus on pulling from the feet and the knee. Control the contraction throughout the set. Taking it nice and slow.
4.
One tip is to point toes to the top of the ceiling, this will help you feel your quad muscles even more.
