One question we get asked frequently is what are the best snack options to eat between meals?
It is important to get this right so that you are snacking in a healthy way and in a way that is complimentary to your overall diet plan. Check out some of our top tips for snacking well 💪
1️⃣ First of all, watch out that any snacks you build into your diet do not push you above your daily calorie goal. Make sure that your snacks are incorporated well into your diet
2️⃣ To get a good injection of carbohydrates after a workout try something like Kalo chocolate rice cakes. They taste good and keep you on track with your diet
3️⃣ For a dose of good fats, fruit and protein, try apple with cashew nut butter
4️⃣ Nuts in general are a great snack option. They are packed full of good fats & protein. One thing, they can be very high in calories so make sure you’re only having a handful at a time unless you are on a calorie building programme
5️⃣ Finally, blueberries are a fantastic snack option. They are considered one of the best superfruits as they are bursting with antioxidants and goodness. Give them a try
