So let’s start with training…
When is the best time to train during Ramadan?
For optimal results throughout Ramadan, try to head to the gym early in the morning after breakfast or after the first meal post-fasting.
How do you compliment your nutrition with training?
If you train during sundown, try having an essential amino acid drink throughout your workout.
After the workout, try having a Whey Protein with some fast acting carbs such as cereal, bagels or a carb powder.
How to eat well during Ramadan?
Ensure that your first meal of the day and the last meal contain a good quality protein source, essential fats and complex carbs.
Hydration throughout Ramadan?
During breaks in fasting, drink plenty of water but be careful not to overhydrate during breakfast and needlessly lose water throughout the day.
