Check out these two exercises that are sometimes underused in the gym but have great effects on your results and definition and can be tweaked to target different muscle areas.
1️⃣ Lat Pull Down: lat pull downs are used in a lot of ABS programmes due to the large muscles that they work. Lat pull down mainly uses muscles in your back, but you can vary the target muscles from lats to upper back with changes in technique.
2️⃣ Split Squats: split squats is an exercise that is definitively underused by regular gym goers. They are very hard, and easy to skip out of your workout because of this. With minor technique changes you can make the exercise more quad, hamstring or glute focused and there is also varieties to compensate for hip and ankle mobility problems that can make the exercise safe and effective for most people. Overall, split squats work large muscles in your legs which can be great to include in a fat loss programme.
