Tricep Pushdown Form
Working on mastering the straight bar tricep pushdown? Here is our trainer James’ top tips for perfecting this great tricep focused exercise.
– Stand in front of the straight cable bar with a slight hinge at your hip
– Your shoulders, elbows and wrists need to be all lined up
– Push the bar towards the floor, straightening the arm and when you reach the bottom – squeeze the triceps hard. Hold for 1 second.
– On the way back up, keep the tempo slow and controlled, allow your bicep to touch your forearm ensuring the tricep is fully stretched out
Give this a go, keep going with it and you will master this fantastic targeted exercise that will grow your triceps and give you great definition.
